"Firstly, I would like to say how well presented everything is - inside and outside the cottage. Secondly, I have not wanted for anything more, in the way of utensils, personal items, as they have all been provided for us ( hand towels, tea towels, games, lots of kitchen utensils). The location of the cottage is excellent as it is only a short 5 mins walk to the beach. The Waterfront Restaurant - also close by, was offering 2 for 1 on Fridays on their Fish and Scampi dishes - it was excellent. The Red Lion Pub and Restaurant - also close by, which was recommended to us, provided a very generous 3 course meal, with drinks, at a reasonable price. You do need to book as we did, but many didn't and were disappointed. We also visited a variety of attractions during our short stay, these included the Garlic Farm, Donkey Sanctuary, Butterfly Farm and some antique shops. We took a brief visit to Steephill Cove, which is just outside the centre of Ventnor. I would highly recommend the fishing cove to visit as it is very quaint, though the steps that slope down are very steep!! Overall we had a lovely stay here at Romany Cottage and will come back again."

"Many thanks for providing such a comfy and well equipped cottage. We've had a marvellous week and got some great photos even when we had a storm! There are so many breathtaking viewpoints and excellent places to visit, it's difficult to pick one, but a lovely sunset just down by Totland Bay Pier with the new moon and stars coming out, was just lovely. Sad to go home, we have fallen in love with the IOW!"

"We have enjoyed a lovely week on the IOW and made better by perfect weather. The comfort of the cottage and the quiet, peaceful setting gave us the ideal base for our first visit to the island. Like others,  we prefer 'West Wight' to the relative rush of the East. Our favourite of the week was the lovely gardens at Mottistone. Another recommended favourite by visitors is the Red Lion pub,  Freshwater, excellent meal. We will certainly be back."
